I was introduced to L.M. Augustine via a Facebook posting from my favorite blogger HEA Book Shelf. L.M. is a YA romance author who is obsessed with writing about dorky teenagers, love, and happy endings. He currently lives in New England, where he spends far too much time reading books and screaming at his computer, and he believes that the solution to the world's problems can be found in chocolate cake.
Click To Subscribe is his first novel....
*Warning!* You will laugh out loud, possibly snort or have to catch your breath! You will cry so a box of tissues on hand is recommended...LOL And you will need a dentist at how sweet it all is!
So my family thinks I lost my mind...hahaha... one minute i am laughing my ass off and snorting at some points of the book, next I am sobbing and cant hardly read the next line at how choked up I am. Must say though, this affirms what I always heard, that men mature slower and cant see what is right in front of them...*giggles*
My Favorite Funny line is ...'She smiles and rolls her eyes at me. "All right, fine. You caught me. The guy I'm secretly crushing on is that doughboy from the Pillsbury commercials! I've always known he's hot stuff!"'
My Favorite Emotional line...'"I made dinner," is all he says.'
My Favorite Love line...'"It's supposed to be scary," she wispers, and I'm consciously aware of how close we are together.'
Such a great read....now to find a 'Chewbacca glass to drink rootbeer like a boss!'
Two Roads is his second novel.
This is a deep emotional journey that leaves you with tears and smiles. A great read and powerful story of loss and love.
Book Description as on Amazon...
The only person poetry-loving Cali Monroe hates more than herself is Logan Waters, the geeky kid who lives in the dorm building next to hers.
Ever since Cali's parents told her she would amount to nothing, she has felt entirely inadequate. Friendless and alone, she takes on the mean girl role in hopes it will make her feel better--and Logan serves as the perfect target. He infuriates her with his obnoxiously long lashes, his all too perfect dimpled smile, and his complete lack of personality outside of his intelligence. It doesn't hurt that he's part of the reason her brother is dead, either. So Cali hates him, and he returns the favor. Thus, their prank-filled, insult-driven rivalry is born, and torturing Logan quickly becomes the highlight of her life.
But when Cali's parents set them up on a blind date, she begins to realize Logan might not be as boring as she always thought. He shares her love of poetry, takes a sadistic pleasure in making fun of crepes, and he makes her blush when he calls her smile pretty.
And hey, maybe those long lashes of his aren't that obnoxious after all...

Review: A Vampire's Saving Embrace
A Vampire's Saving Embrace by Darlene Kuncytes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
What a great read. Love Abigail and Desmond's romance from the start. Abs has no idea in the beginning what Des wants, but he can't stay away from her. He saves her and in turn, they build a love that consumes each other. Des has his world turned upside down by this little fey and soon realizes she is his mate. With help of the local wolf-pack and her best friend who is a witch this is a suspenseful story of old grudges spanning across time and even through the gates of hell, as a demon long thought dead comes back for revenge.
Great story and cant wait to read more in A Wolf's Savage Embrace. (Kat and Luke's story)

Review: Irreplaceable
Irreplaceable by Angela Graham
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
After reading Inevitable I couldn't wait to get started with this book. And it didn't leave me disappointed...It was cleaver and funny, yes at sometimes I begged for things to go differently, but honestly the way Angela wrote Logan and Cassie was perfect for them. Love, Love, Love Oliver and Scout, I couldn't get enough of the sweet and smart tot. :)
A great read, definitely start with book one and then book two and god help me on the wait for book three.....
Devoured the two books back-to-back after attending the pre-release for Irreplaceable and seriously could not get enough of this series!!!

Review: Daddy Morebucks
Daddy Morebucks by Normandie Alleman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a very fantiastically erotic and quite humorous read. Enjoyed it as the story flowed well. I had heard that the ending was where the story lost it for some, however I feel the story flowed well and played out the emotions of the characters well and certainly gave you a better insight into the 'careful what you ask for' line of life.
Its a quirky and flirty super funny read....from sweat tickling her armpits to a vagina like a slippery eel...I mean...ROFL
I really enjoyed this read as recommended by S&M book club bloggers...A little pretty girl meets shades of grey crossed with housewives....LOL....if you need a laugh and spirit lifting read with some heat, give this a go....the ending has mixed reviews from others, but as the book finishes, it kind of goes along with the quirkiness of the book.
would recommend to anyone looking for a funny, quirky, and enjoyable read. :)
