Intense and erotic story of one woman's rise to her birth-right, her 'namesake' and learning to adapt and overcome and exceed expectations, and the lives she changes.
This story is told from the point of view of 'The Madam'.
Lilith, never was coddled by her mother but she was loved and never wanted for anything. Growing up being the daughter of a Madam she had everything and was expected to act (almost like a princess) very proper and never her age. She learned many lessons from her mother, one of the most important was how to take over the family business...VIP.
Lilith is an exceedingly strong character and I enjoyed the depth of emotions and situations that the author took her through. Almost as a voyer on her journey or watching it play out as a documentary. There were extreme highs, and not just the use of powder or pills, and senual/sexual moments that stole my breath away. I absolutely loved the coming into power and plays made to keep her life the way she both needed and wanted it to be.
As this was the second in the series it was nice to have a proper look back as to how Lilith and Ysabelle aka Ysa or Bella Rosa, is woven into the story with parts from book one that...although some perfect moments of feeling as I was both re-reading a bit, but was changed to come from Lilith's view. Ysa and Lilith's relationship unfolds again with this new perspective and...i must say...totally loved it!
I said this for book one...VIP...I really enjoyed this story. It was thrilling and sexual, heartbreaking and loving, and most of all feeling that sometimes second chances can be better than the first....and it holds true in 'The Madam' as well.

This story is told from the point of view of the two main characters.
Ysabelle aka Ysa or Bella Rosa, is from the wrong side of the tracks, her "mother was a piece of sh*t. Plain and simple." Her story is that of abuse both physical and mental from her mother and lead her to use her body to get what she needed to survive. But as soon as she was able she left and never looked back. Determined to make a better life for herself.
Sebastian aka Sebby, is from the right side of the street, wealthy family, good parents who lived in the best neighborhood. He grew up with Julia, being there from the time she was born, he loved, played and protected her. And even when Olivia, came along, Sebastian always put Julia first even though his heart wanted him to do the opposite. But through everything Julia would always be first to him.
The book is a lot of back and forth, following each of them grow and their journeys to what leads to the moment of when they meet. Ysabelle is a "VIP" escort and Sebastian is a Yacht salesman, and when they meet its the most frustratingly awkward time. From thinking she looks like someone else, and her not understanding his intentions, this romance is nothing like a 'Pretty Woman' story. Its raw, real and HOT!!
I really enjoyed this story. It was thrilling and sexual, heartbreaking and loving, and most of all feeling that sometimes second chances can be better than the first.
