Marissa and Mike are totally a hot mess for each other. Between denying what is going on between them, the flames are enough to scorch even the reader. It’s impossible to resist the connection between them as they try and deny over and over what is there. Sometimes you truly can’t fight what fate has in store for you. And this couple…never saw it coming! Marissa is one tuff cookie and she doesn’t back down from what she feels or hides who she is. But add in a tuff confident Mike to her world and its all she can do not to fall harder for him.
A very cute read, would recommend to any romance lover. Barbara Speak has a knock-out on her hands with Fighting Fate.
